Votive Object,
The 'votive object' is a detail or culmination of a series of spiritual works that hopefully evoke thought and emotion within the viewer. 

I have been borrowing images from various cultures and realigning them with my 'mix and match' spiritual beliefs. 

I hope my images are ambiguous and sometimes contradictory journeying through the demonic and primitive that include romantic and religious versions of life and death. 

I am handing to Ross Barber Mother Mary and the blessed rosary. It will protect the traveler in this case the curator of Hand Luggage on tour.
